Special Friend Day at School

Friday Ben & Kate's school had a Special Friends Day. They had a special program where each class sang a song about families. Afterwards we went in the "Art Museum" full of special works of art done by the whole school. Each class made an art item to be auctioned off as well!

Here is Ben & Kate's class. They all dressed up like Mommys & Daddys to go with their song. Note Kate's pearls & baby doll (I tried to get her to wear an apron but she wouldn't have it) and Ben's tie!

After the presentation we went to their classroom and had challah and lit the Shabbat candles like they do every Friday.

Afterwards we went through the art museum. Ben & Kate made Spice Boxes (they smelled so good!) and some stained glass art.

Ben & Kate's special friends were none other than Grammy & Gran! They were able to visit the school for the first time. They were very impressed with everything and noted they could feel how warm & friendly the school is! Thanks for spending the weekend with us Grammy & Gran!
