Artist at Work!

A few days ago Ben was taking an extra long nap so in an effort to entertain Kate I suggested we paint the seashells we brought back from our trip to the coast with Grammy & Gran. It was a big hit and she loved it! Kate loves to color, "write", draw and paint! The apple does not fall far from the tree, eh?

First she painted....

The we carried them out to the porch. I like to save and use these flat boxes from Costco for art projects! They are perfect!

Next we glittered. And Kate is a girl who LOVES her glitter!

The we let the little masterpieces dry...

Then we cleaned up our glittery hands!

And it was so fun...even if there is a little glitter left on the porch days later!
