Swim Lessons

It's a rite of passage in the summers of childhood- I am still slightly scarred by my memories of being dunked underwater in Meredith Die's pool by our grumpy swim teacher. However Ben & Kate seem to have enjoyed their lessons they took for the past  2 weeks at Ms. Linda's house!

At the first lesson they would barely put their face in the water- at the end of the 2 weeks, they can swim underwater several feet and get dive sticks off the bottom of the shallow end. They did wonderfully and I was so proud- for the most part they were very cooperative! Swimming lessons are kind of a beating but I'm happy to say it was totally worth it!

Kate swimming back to the steps- all the mommys & daddys sat on the shaded porch and watched

For the last 10 minutes or so it was "Floatie Time" where they all got to pick a floatie and have play time in the pool. After it was all over you got a lollipop if you behaved yourself and did what Ms. Linda asked.

I just love watching Ben & Kate have new experiences!
